New: After a +£20k investment you can now use our second online booking engine it's live and it talks to our reservation system so when you make a booking online it goes straight into our availability - just like that (Dec 09). 

Lift: £90,000 Lift upgrade replacing the exisiting traditional lift for a brand new state of the art Thyssen Krupp guest elevator and upgrading Wing Guest Lift.  Making 2 new swish lifts at the Palace (2008/09).

More New Bedrooms - 24 Bedrooms restyled with luxurious fabrics from Wools to heavy Damask Curtains - warm tones and sumptuous paint colours using Farrow & Ball paints - Rectory Red to gentle Stone White - really stunning additions to the traditional style rooms in the hotel. Plus bathrooms are being tackled which is never an easy feet in an old building.  New additions include Granite Marble tops - extra large showers and lovely tiles. (2008)

48 New Bedrooms

You can now enjoy one of the further 48 bedrooms that have been newly restyled here at the Inverness Palace.  With new luxury Brintons caramel carpets soft under foot, new beds from Blindcraft, new furniture from Dovetail Dundee and stunning Soft Furnishings from Panaz carefully stitched by Remnant Kings Glasgow you will enjoy a modern contemporary bedroom with a subtle colour pallet.  Colour schemes included Burgandy and Golds, rich Reds and Golds and also a more city trendy Olive and Gold selection.  With more 140 cushions all different colours work was completed in 

New TV System, Sky TV in Bedrooms & Sky Sports - making sure you feel at home whilst you are at the Palace is very important.  So this year the TV system has been upgraded with more Freeview channels in all rooms plus 2 Sky TV Channels.  Sky Sports is also now available in the Brasserie so you don't need to miss the sporting action whilst you are away from home!   Coming soon LCD TVs.

Brasserie & Bar - there is a story here and it all started with the chairs.  This work was not planned for this year but an opportunity came a long so we took it and started a fairly major refurbisment of the Lounge and now new Brasserie.  From scottish Leather hide chairs & Kirkby House Fabrics by 1st Class Upholstery in Glasgow, to using the very best of the luxury Wilton Wool Carpet, to the custom made Spanish sparkling chandeliers by Robertsons of Edinburgh and not to forget the back breaking work of levelling the floor by David at Inverness Taylor Made Flooring and finally Dovetail's excellent furniture production it all has added up to a job well done.  Come and see for yourself.  (2006)

We Proudly Brew Starbucks Coffees (R) - with a delicious selection of cakes.  After much searching of Coffee companies it was an easy choice to go for the Worlds 52nd Biggest brand.  So in July 06 the Starbucks partnership was rolled out and our guests have not looked back.  So come and enjoy a Starbucks in Inverness now available at the Palace Hotel in Inverness. FREE Wifi Internet Access - some hotels still charge for this but March 06 we decided to offer Wifi Internet absolutely FREE.  We think internet access is now so important to your daily lives that you should not have to pay for it.  You can even have a coffee in the Lounge and log on there are no charges. (2006)
